The Penthouse on Magazine Reviews

Love! Love! Love this place. Edward is an exceptional host who truly cares about his guest. Your every need will be met if you decide to stay here. Checking in and out was a breeze. Very detailed instructions. The beds were super comfortable, tvs in all rooms, and the sofa reclines! The balcony was a fun place to hang out and either drink coffee in the morning or sip wine in the afternoon. And a parking spot!

Edward, it is obvious you enjoy what you do! Keep creating beautiful places for us to enjoy. Our stay was amazing!

Candi from Florida

One of the BEST AirBnB’s I have ever stayed at! Edward’s place is impeccably clean and very tasteful in its craftsmanship and design. The appliances/features of the listing are complete and have some uniqueness to them, such as the stellar balcony, TVs in each bedroom, spacious bathtub/shower, and the elevator leading directly into the apartment. The welcome snacks were a thoughtful touch and the location is outstanding and very safe/walkable. The juice bar downstairs was also really neat. Edward is a great communicator and had very thorough and detailed instructions. He is such a professional. Would recommend 100/10!

Your Hosts

Edward Nickolaus Jr

I was born and raised in New Orleans and absolutely love this city. Between the awesome food, extremely unique culture and the southern hospitality, there’s no other place like it in the world. My profession is to build and renovate houses in New Orleans. I particularly love to take these 100+ year old houses and bring them back to there glory for future generations to enjoy and appreciate them as well. When I do get away, Destin Florida has always been our escape to place. My family has been going there for over 25 years and I’m thrilled to have finally completed our dream beachfront property to enjoy and rent out.
